Central to the life of any Foursquare church worldwide is the discipline of prayer. We gather corporately to pray during the Wednesday night service and before the Sunday morning service. Prayer cards are available during each service so that individuals can ask for specific prayer needs or report answers to prayer. We also use e-mail to distribute prayer concerns and praise reports. We consider it a great privilege to come before our God in intercession and praise. For more information about prayer at the church, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here at Grays Harbor Foursquare Church our children are very important to us. We offer an exciting and safe learning environment on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for children from infants to 12-year-olds. The heart of our ministry team is to raise up the Church of the future by equipping our children to serve God, pray for one another and minister to others. Children truly are a blessing from the Lord.
All women – including teenage girls – are encouraged to take part in a variety of programs and fellowship opportunities for women at Grays Harbor Foursquare. Women’s Bible studies are at the heart of the women’s ministry with several opportunities throughout the year for women to grow as individuals and build relationships while studying the Word of God. Each year a Women’s Retreat is offered giving women a chance to take a break from day-to-day life to receive teaching, enjoy fellowship and have an opportunity to hear the Lord in a fresh way. The women at Grays Harbor Foursquare also look forward to their annual Christmas luncheon – a beautiful, festive and tasty way to invite friends and relatives to a church event. In addition, plans are underway for more programs to encourage women and to foster and nurture their God-given gifts.
Men’s Ministries provides men with meaningful opportunities to grow in fellowship with other men. We believe we must become “Men with a Mission”, discovering our purpose in life and then pursuing it with all our might. To do this, we need not only a vital relationship with God, but with other men. Come join us!
“Around the globe with the Foursquare Gospel.” With these words Aimee Semple McPherson focused the mission and message of the family of churches that we now call our own. From our inception as a fellowship in Gray’s Harbor, God has called to give generously to the work of the Church throughout the nations. That has taken on many expressions; from sending our best as missionaries, consistent monthly support of missionaries, short term teams, mentorship of national leaders and countless prayers from the saints that call this church home. God has placed our fellowship in Grays Harbor but our vision is not limited by boundaries created by man. His heart is for all men to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Due to the enormity of the vision, and the constraints of our limited resources, we have strategically been placed in relationship with nation changers that we invest in along with our denomination’s international trust within 144 nations. This coupling, via relationships has lead to a great harvest of souls. We encourage everyone that calls this church home to invest themselves financially, practically and prayerfully in the vision of missions in our church. If we do as the Lord directs we will be full participants in the words of our Saviour. “That repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all nations.” – Luke 24:47
